I have three rolls of 35mm film that are ready to be developed. I don’t want to ship them out yet though. I have that new/ancient medium format camera now and I want to wait until I finish a test roll so that I can be sure it works okay. I just want to bundle all of this film into one order with the developing lab, you know? One order, one shipment. I just have to take the new camera out somewhere and use it. I only get 12 shots in a roll. I should be able to get that done quickly, right?
Oh the film shooting drama.

You only get 12 shots on a roll? Why? I thought film came in 24 or 36 shots per roll?
.
Is it some super High-Definition IMAX kind of film that takes up a whole bunch of film strip length per shot?

It is not 35mm film. It’s a roll of 120 film that gets shot in 6×6 format and the math works out to 12 shots per roll.

12 pics… 13 or 14 if you’re lucky… but you gotta be so selective!
The bottom of my current post (Festivus miracle) has a pic for you.
