   1. It is a state law. Every registereg vehicle needs an annual inspection. This one was due in July but I’ve barely driven the car at all so being late isn’t a big deal. It’s all up to date now though.

      1. How much was your late fee? I’m.in SoCal and constantly comparing prices with another blogger in Oklahoma, where everything is about 10% of what I pay.

         1. No late fee, I just ran the risk of getting pulled over and getting a ticket.

            1. Nice! I’m pretty sure we have penalties, but could be wrong. We have bi-annual smog check, which was over $80 this year. I think my registration – no inspection required – was $300-something.
