Our society is broken beyond repair.
I just saw a TV commercial with the opening line, “I needed more from my anti-depressant.”
Really, what the fuck is wrong with us? We as a society are disgusting.

Over the weekend I got back into my rewatch of Star Trek Deep Space 9. When I paused it at the start of the ridiculous Doctor Who binge I was a few episodes into season two. Today I went looking for a rewatch podcast or two that I could listen to in conjunction with watching the episode. You know, like you do.
I found one called The 7th Rule that features Cirroc Lofton (who played Jake Sisko) and the late Aron Eisenberg (who played Nog). I am listening to their recap of an episode called Rivals (season two, episode 11, I think) and they are basically just making fun of Doctor Bashir’s outfit and it’s pretty freakin’ funny.
I just wanted to share.
My step daughter and I watched the first of the three 60th anniversary episodes of Doctor Who today. I only started becoming a fan about five months ago, but I’d seen every previous episode in the most epic TV binge watch in history so this was the first time I had to actually wait for a new episode.
No spoilers as far as plot goes. It was definitely a fun watch and it fits right in with the show as it was the last time David Tennant played The Doctor. There was nothing earth shattering in it, but I enjoyed it.
One clear difference was the budget for visual effects. It has definitely been increased in a big way. It seems like they have a truck load of Disney cash to throw around and they made excellent use of it. The episode looked amazing.
I’m looking forward to next week’s second of the three anniversary special episodes. Here’s hoping the bigger budget fun continues. Enjoy.
Fear the Walking Dead is Over! The series has completed! After eight seasons, the last five of which are the worst television ever produced, they have finally put us out of our misery!
The last two episodes aired last night. I watched them this morning while exercising and eating breakfast and good lord they were AWEFUL. I mean… Holy shit, were they terrible! I was literally laughing out loud at the majority of the “dramatic” moments. The writing was so atrocious that it was funny. Not funny in a good way, but funny in an “I can’t believe how pathetic this is, how did this garbage make it to the air” kind of way.
Who cares though, the show is over. It will never come back again. Stick a fork in it, it’s done! I am so happy for the members of the cast who are now free to work on good TV shows and movies and literally anything they want without ever having to work on this shit heap of idiocy ever again. You are free, people! You are finally and mercifully free!
I feel so relieved. I no longer have to question my sanity as I hate watch the worst show on television, purely for the sake of completeness. This once fantastic show turned into a rusting, leaking, septic tank of bad and I no longer feel compelled to watch another second.
We are all free! We are all freed from the tyranny of the terrible TV show! Rejoice! Rejoice!
I just finished watching the second season finale of Loki on Disney+. No spoilers, just go and watch it. The whole season is very good.
The reason for this post though has to do with the guy who plays Loki, Tom Hiddleston. Simply put, is it time to cast him as the next James Bond, or what? I think he would be a great choice. He wouldn’t be the blunt instrument Daniel Craig was. He’d be something else, but he’d be great.
Just call me Spartacus and join my crusade. Hiddleston for Bond: 2024.
I am done! It’s over! It’s finished! Oh thank the King of England, at last I am through it all!
13 seasons of NuWho, 26 seasons of Classic Who, and one made for TV movie co-starring Julia Roberts’ fairly untalented brother!
My Epic Binge Watch of All Things Doctor Who is Complete! I am Done!
Now what do I do?
It has been about four months now but I am finally into the home stretch of the most epic Doctor Who binge watch. 13 seasons of new who down and 25 seasons of classic who down too. The next episode I watch will be the season 26 premier. The 26th and final season! I have 14 episodes and one made for TV movie left and then I am done!
60 years of Doctor Who binge watched in four months! Amazing! Incredible! I am so burned out on this freakin’ show I can’t even tell you!
Then new episodes come out at the end of the month! Good heavens there is so much Doctor Who!
Insert maniacal screaming sounds here!
Today’s photo-a-day pic. I was thinking about taking my Z5 outside and trying to take something more interesting than just another picture of a cat. Jen and I got out of bed at about the same time and she turned on the bedroom lights. That’s when we saw this…….
I guess Miss Lily had other plans for the photo-a-day pic. How could I pass up this view?
On an unrelated note, I forgot to watch this week’s new episode of Loki last night! I forgot to watch it this morning too! Talk about your pop-culture fail! Now I have to struggle to avoid spoilers all day today. What a loser I am!
We pay too much money for streaming services. We (meaning, me) are TV crazies and watch a lot of shows across a lot of networks. We have been downsizing a little. That includes dropping from an add-free Netflix plan to a lower tier, add-supported plan.
Unrelated (yet), my favorite Walking Dead podcast, formerly known as The Walking Dead ‘Cast and currently known as The ‘Cast of Us, started a rewatch of The Walking Dead this week. I figured I’d play along. I went to Netflix to watch the first episode before listening to the podcast episode.
That’s when I found that the show is not available on add-supported plans. It is only available on add-free plans.
Screw you, Netflix. Screw you, right in your eyes.
Every time I torture myself with a new episode of Fear the Walking Dead I go into it with the thought that however bad it will be, and I know it will be insultingly awful, at least it can’t be as bad as the last episode. Nothing could be worse than the last horrid piece of shit television that was the last episode.
Then the new episode is so awful, so terrible, so disgustingly bad, that it not only is worse than the previous episode, it is worse by miles and miles. It is so much worse that I feel like I have just eaten mud. It is so much worse that I feel like I have just punched a puppy in the face with brass knuckles.
It just happened again. I just finished last night’s new episode and it was so much worse than last week’s, and last week’s was the worst episode I’ve ever forced myself to watch.
What the actual fuck, AMC? How do you let this utter shit on the air? What the hell is wrong with you people?
