Sun

After a whole summer where almost every time I wanted to take the camera out during the morning golden hour the sky was an unbroken, unending ceiling of clouds, the three days I’ve had to go into the office this week have been greeted with blinding sunshine every morning. Not a cloud in the sky.

Figures.

Blue Sky

Remember yesterday and the day before when I posted little blurbs about how crappy the weather was? Today is Monday and we’re back to work so…

I’ve said it before and I will say it again: Hey mother nature… bite me.

More Blue Skies

As I start my work day in the afternoon after having taken the morning off for my doctor’s appointment, let me share two pictures of the blue sky. The blue sky that probably will go away for the weekend when I would actually have time to enjoy it.

Beautiful Day

It is gorgeous outside today. The sky is perfect.

My love wanted an apple pie from an apple orchard so I took care of that for her. I am guessing as apple pies go, the one I picked up is going to be legen-wait for it!

Legendary!

The Question

It’s quarter to 10pm. The question before me is this:

Do I hang out for an hour or so and then go outside in the dark and take a couple of long exposures of the sky to see how they’ll turn out, or do I go to bed.

Ask me again in an hour.

Sunset Fail

I thought it might be fun to get a sunset pic on a day that I went to the ocean to see the sunrise. It looked like it might be one of those “red sky at night” situations so I stood on the porch with my camera at the ready. It didn’t happen. The sun went down without any fanfare. At least in my neighborhood.

I took a picture of the moon as a consolation prize.
