Happy Fathers Day

Today is fathers day in the united states. If you are a dad or if you are someone who plays the dad role in your family, then happy fathers day.

This year is the first fathers day we’ve had since my father passed away. Jen and Bellana went to the grave with me. I am so grateful to them for that gesture. It means so much. I miss my father quite a bit, and I miss him a little extra today.

Should Harry be Worried?

Harry, mugging it up with Minnie Mouse. It’s adorable, right?

Look closer… do you see Mickey Mouse in the (blurry!) background? Does he look… jealous? Does he look like maybe that smile on his face is not sincere? Does he look like there is trouble brewing? Should Harry and Minnie be afraid of some sort of repercussion?

I don’t think so but… I don’t know.

Day Two

Yesterday, our first full day at Disney World, was the second day of our trip. We went to Animal Kingdom for most of the day and later went to Epcot for dinner. We ate at Space 220, 220 miles above the surface of the Earth. I didn’t take any pictures in the restaurant, but I did take this as we were leaving for the night. I felt it was appropriate.

We are heading to Magic Kingdom today. I hope to sneak back to Epcot at some point, but it’s not looking likely. We’re only two days in and I am wiped out. Fun! WOOHOO!
