Today’s Photo a Day photo is a candle because I am getting tired of using guitars and cats every day and I can’t leave the house and use something else. Sigh with Covid-19 frustration.

Maybe I’ll test again tomorrow and then I’ll be able to leave the house and see the world again.
I broke out my 12-string today. The only acoustic guitar I currently have. I had a six string too but I loaned it to the singer in my band years ago and I don’t know if I’ll ever see it again.
I’m worried about my 12-string. Is the neck starting to warp a little? I hope not.

I was thinking of making any new songs I work on this month be acoustic guitar focused, but after playing for a few minutes this morning… this thing is hard to play. I might be changing my mind a little.
Addendum: For future reference, this is a Takamine F-400S and based on the serial number on the neck block inside the guitar it was built in March of 1978.
I did my morning routine in the cellar today, unlike the past two weeks where I’ve done it in the living room and had the cats hanging out by the windows for my morning photo-a-day moments. Today we’re back to the guitars. Now I just have to work up the energy to… ya know… actually play the guitars.
Black and white filter today, just for schnitzengiggles.
I almost talked Jen into letting me buy a thousand dollar point and shoot camera today. Heh heh. No, I’d rather spend the money on guitar maintenance… assuming I ever get over Covid and can do business with people face to face again. Stupid ‘rona.
I’ve been using a 40mm lens exclusively for the last nine months or so. Using a 28mm lens now feels weird somehow. I didn’t think it would be quite this different but it is.
I’ve been following cats around this morning shooting them in low light. None of these look terribly good, but I’m liking them anyway.
