Get ready for lots of pictures of gas stations today. We’re going on a day trip up to the mountains to look at colors on the trees. It’s probably past peak where we’re heading but that’s okay. It’s the journey, not the destination.

The weather is pretty bleak right now, but it was gorgeous all day yesterday, and again this morning. We’ve been wandering through the White Mountains and checking out waterfalls. We’ve also gotten to know North Conway a bit. Now we are getting ready to go to our anniversary dinner.
This little get away has been fantastic. Just wonderful.
This is sort of what I am needing right now.
A scenic view from the top of a mountain…
Crystal clear water…
Life hidden away in the woods…
And the love of my life.
That sort of sums up what I’m needing right now.
Just take me away from it all. Just for a little while.
