Patches Today:
Patches on the day we adopted her, October 19, 2010. Sure, she was hiding under the bed and Harry was trying to coax her to come out, but I promise she’s there.

Harry just pulled out of the driveway and set out for Vermont. Sigh of sadness.
Jen and I are going to go through the morning routine and follow him. I’ve got my stuff packed.

Add two (2) water bottles to this little stash (they are in the fridge) and I’m good to go.
The plan is to meet Bellana for breakfast/brunch/lunch first. Probably not in downtown Burlington but somewhere a smidge South of town. After that we will go to Harry’s new dorm and deliver his television and a couple of other small things that didn’t really fit in his car.
I’m happy for him but sad for us. At least we will see both kids today. It’s going to be a good day. Overall.
The rare cat selfie. This is the human in the photo acknowledging that while he has lost over 100 pounds, he’s still as big as a house. Huzzah!

Patches isn’t 100% black, hence her name, but she still qualifies as a black cat in my eyes.
Happy National Black Cat Appreciation Day, Patches!
When I see it, I must snap it.
We are going back into the city tomorrow. We failed to get into the New England Aquarium last time so we are going back with tickets in hand.
It’s not going to be quite as photowalkish for me this time. No film cameras are going, but a digital will. I’m 99% sure it will be my DSLR rather than the point and shoot, but both cameras are charging as I type this, just in case.
Patches will miss us.
