Thanks for nothing, dishwasher.

I snapped a couple of cat pics while I was cooking my lunch.
I still feel super sick with the head cold from hell, but I also sort of felt well enough to leave the house and run some errands! Thank you, immune system!

Two cat pics from this morning that I forgot to post, because… just because.
Lily is a climber. This is the highest spot in the kitchen that she can reach.
Robin is a little more of a mellow cat. She just likes to hang out.
I mentioned earlier today that the cats rarely come and visit me during the work day. Now here we see Robin the Cat came to visit me for a second time. I think she came into the room because Jen was in the room visiting me. The cat wasn’t interested in me at all, she wanted some attention from Jen. I think I’ve solved this riddle.
The cats don’t tend to visit me while I am working, but for some reason they did today. Maybe they know I am in my step son’s bed room and he’s flying home from the UK today. He is currently in the air, on his way to London to grab a connecting flight to Boston. Can the cats sense that?
Anyway, I took some pic because that’s what I do.
Lily promised me she wasn’t the one who messes with the plant clipping I wrote about yesterday.
Yeah, whatever you say, feline. Whatever you say.
One cat is not hiding…
The other cat is hiding (can you see her?)…
I took a new clipping of the plant we grew from a clipping from the plant that Bellana grew from a clipping from her step mother’s plant. It’s been sitting in water near a window for weeks and the cats have been terrorizing it. They drink the water, they knock the clipping out of the glass. It’s terrible. I assumed the attempt was going to fail, but I didn’t throw it out. I just left the glass of water with the clipping by the window. Two days ago I checked it after neglecting it for almost a week and there are two new roots sprouting off of it! Success!
I just ordered some potting soil and a little pot. Hopefully it survives long enough for them both to get here so I can pot this babie!
Is Lily trying to tell us that she misses my step kids?
And yes, there are two copies of the same picture (from 2007), one on either side of her.
Robin is hanging out with me while I eat lunch and watch today’s new episode of Constellation. No idea where Lily is. She’s most likely hiding in Harry’s closet.
