Graduation road trip weekend is coming to a close. I’ve been packing up our stuff and loading up the car. Harry went home with his dad yesterday so it’s just me and Jen and Nana this time.
Bellana is coming to the hotel to have breakfast with us. Bonus time! After that we will check out and head South.
All in all it was a great weekend, celebrating Bellana and her fellow UVM graduates. Congratulations to the class of 2023!
I’ll replace this with a higher resolution image later, but that’s her, getting her diploma from the college of arts and sciences biochem department.
The University of Vermont Commencement ceremony is taking place right now. They are conferring the degrees as I write this.
Bellana will officially be a college graduate any minute now!!!
Both of my step kids are students at the University of Vermont. My step son gave us a quick tour of some of one campus while leading us to my step daughter’s ceremony of the day.

We are about two hours away from the start of the graduation ceremony. Can you feel the excitement building? I can!
Harry is already there, of course. Bellana is on her way. We only have two parking passes between the two houses and I think the plan is to pile about 30 people into the two cars. It’s going to be a drive in movie in the 50’s where they hide people in the trunk.
We’re making a quick dinner right now. We’ll maybe have something more substantial when we get home. For now though let it be stated that I just used an Air Fryer for the first time. Look at me, all hipster like.
One hour and forty minutes to go!
