Tomorrow is Veterans Day and I have it off. Thursday is Rob-Needed-To-Burn-A-Vacation-Day day so I have that off too. How should I spend my two days off?
Raking? There is rain in the forecast. Not sure.
Music? I’ve got a lot of songs ready for guitars and I need to start writing lyrics… yuck.

Coup d’état. I said that the 2016 election looked a lot like a coup d’état thanks to the russian interference. I never said the election was illegitimate, because right or wrong, the American people cast their votes.
Now we’re seeing an actual coup d’état. An attempt, at least. The justice department and a bunch of senators have joined the cheeto in his idiotic votes-for-the-other-guy-don’t-count crusade.
The motivation for this is clear. He’s raising money for the defense of the election, whatever the hell that means, and he’s embezzling that money to pay off his campaign debts. This is nothing but a scam to make a buck… and countless people are falling for it hook, line, and sinker.

The White House Science Office said yesterday that they have stopped the pandemic. I wonder… did they ask the 1,100 people who died of Covid-19 today?
That’s right. More then 1,100 people died of Covid-19 today. Today. My math says that there were about 88,000 new cases in the US today. Today.
But the White House Science Office says they’ve stopped the pandemic.
Right. I don’t think that word means what they think it means.

So first he gets covid, declares he’s cured somehow also he’s immune which means he doesn’t know what the word immune means. Then he goes back to the white house and spoofs a scene from a terrible llyod webber show where he stands on a balcony gasping for air as if he were minutes from death, but yeah he’s immune. How many white house staff members were infected for that idiotic stunt. Next the devil decides to halt the covid stimulus debates until after the election.
On the upside, stephen miller has covid. If trump is evil, stephen miller is evil.

Steve Bannon was arrested today for ripping off donors to a build the wall charity.
Now I know that this won’t amount to anything, and even if it did the nazi in washington would probably pardon him because consequences aren’t a thing for republicans.
However, knowing that this piece of shit is going to spend at least a day in jail has warmed my heart in a way that nothing political, including all of the speeches from the Democratic convention could not.
Seeing trumpers go to jail… it’s just lovely.
