I was messing with CameraBag on my Mac using some of the pics I took on Memorial Day. I do love cemetery pics.

What I Need Right Now
Mickey
I haven’t posted a random Flickr pic in quite a while.
One of my friends is taking his family to Disney World this summer. He told me today that his four year old son asked him if Mickey Mouse was real or not. Suddenly, out of no where, he found himself faced with what is essentially the Santa question, only about 5-7 years too early.
Look at the picture. Mickey looks pretty real to me. hehe
Deer in May
Three deer came by the house today to try and cheer me up after the Bruins game one double overtime loss last night. I was able to take a few pics.
There hasn’t been a lot of Spring growth in the woods behind the house yet, but there seems to have been enough to make my autofocus go crying home to mommy. Most of these were manually focused. I usually don’t do very well manually.
This pic was the first one I took. She heard me open up the bedroom window.
We are getting to the time of year when deer sightings become very rare. This picture makes me wonder, are deer sightings rare in the Spring and Summer because they don’t come around, or are they rare because those buggers are camouflage masters? Trust me, there is a deer in this picture.
Boston
A Thought on San Diego
There is only one downside that I can see about moving from Boston to San Diego. (we’re not, I’m just fantasizing)
San Diego does not have an NHL team.
There’s the LA Kings and the Anaheim Ducks. I expect I would follow the Kings for my local NHL fix, although Ducks games would be slightly closer to home.
I’d still be a Bruins fan, of course. I mean… duh!

Unplanned Hampton Beach Visit
Blurry Deer
Twice today I had the opportunity to take a few pics of wild animals in the back yard, and twice today there wasn’t enough light for me to get anything other than blurry messes. Mostly, at least. This morning it was a bunch of turkeys. This evening it was six deer. They came into the yard as opposed to the woods behind the yard, where we usually see them. They seemed to be checking out the bird feeder. Yet another group of mammals who don’t know that bird food is for birds.
