Lunch Outside

No, I didn’t eat lunch outside today. I ate at my desk like I always do. I did step out for a minute to take out the trash, including a bag full of cat litter that burst while I was putting it into the barrel. Gross, bro. Gross.

I used the outdoor opportunity to take a couple of point and shoot pics. I wanted to try another quick exposure compensation comparison. Here goes.

No exposure compensation…

Exposure compensation set at -1…

I think I like the second one better, but I might back it off a smidge. I can set it at -.3 and -.7. I’ll try one of those settings rather than -1. Fascinating, I know.

Oh, and did I mention birds?

I should sneak outside again and try to take some birds in black and white. Cool, babie.

Mill Building

I spent my lunch in an old Mill Building in Chelmsford, MA today. It’s a cool place.

Once upon a time I considered trying to rent a rehearsal space for a band in the basement of that building. We ended up at a place in Billerica instead and one night the Concord River flooded and my old Fender solid state amp was never the same again. This place is really cool looking though.

New Flower Alert!

I’ve been checking the Japanese Peace Lilly in the bedroom every day, searching for signs of new flowers. Today that search paid off!

WOOHOO!

I had the little point and shoot in the room so I used it for that picture (with the flash). After two posts last night, can you guess what’s coming? Oh yeah, DSLR (no flash) Vivid vs Monochrome comparisons! WOOHOO!

I then got carried away and took a couple more…

I didn’t edit these in Apple Photos at all. I usually just use the auto setting as a tiny little tweak, but I left these alone.

One final pre-work-morning note. Two days ago I ran for a minute at the end of my 30 minute walkies. Yesterday I ran for two minutes. You might expect that I ran for three minutes today but no… I ran for five.

Who am I?
