Oh Great

Oh wonderful. My company gives a holiday gift. It’s a nice gesture but it requires the entire company to come into the office on the day the gift is distributed. I was in a massive crowd in New York this past weekend and I didn’t feel as Covid-claustrophobic as I do sitting at my desk in the office right now. The parking lot is full, it’s super loud with everyone talking at once, and we’re all going to catch the 21st century plague.

Yeah, I am opting out of the holiday gift next year.

Here’s a nice camera-phone sunrise to cheer me up.

It did not cheer me up.

Not Ready Yet

I have three rolls of 35mm film that are ready to be developed. I don’t want to ship them out yet though. I have that new/ancient medium format camera now and I want to wait until I finish a test roll so that I can be sure it works okay. I just want to bundle all of this film into one order with the developing lab, you know? One order, one shipment. I just have to take the new camera out somewhere and use it. I only get 12 shots in a roll. I should be able to get that done quickly, right?

Oh the film shooting drama.

Extreme Close Up

Robin’s food bowl must be a little low. She gets extremely affectionate when that happens, and she’s extremely affectionate right now. She knows that the road to her stomach runs through my heart… or something like that.

Dad’s Camera

I took this with Dad’s camera last summer. Or was it the summer before last. I don’t remember. It was at Nubble Lighthouse in Maine.

I took Dad’s camera to New York this past weekend and with the exception of a couple of pics with my iPhone it was the only camera I used. It’ll probably be years before I get the film developed though, so you’re just going to have to be patient. You and me both.
