Two installments on this working from the office day. First, near home:
Second, near work:
There might be a third installment later as I will be working out of two different buildings today. We’ll see how it goes when I am through my morning meetings in Foxborough and get to drive up to Westwood. I’ll let you all know.
I set up my desk in the cellar before my surgery last year, at some point in April 2022. I had been thinking about changing things up for a month or so and today, without really planning to, I did something about it.
I now have a work computer desk and a personal computer desk. Sure this is a cable spaghetti mess, but I threw it all together during my lunch break today so it’s as good as you can expect on short notice. The monitors are my wife’s. Actually, the keyboard and the mouse are hers too. The webcam is too. Also the stand the laptop is sitting on. So… I guess it’s sort of my wife’s desk and I’m just using it. Oh yeah, the desk was hers too. So… yeah.
If you zoom in on this picture you can see some twigs inside of the bird house. It’s awesome.
I have checked on it a couple of times today and I have seen a little sparrow going in and out of the bird house and I love it so much. I don’t imagine I’ll be able to get close enough to see any potential eggs, should the universe dictate that there will be eggs, but I hope I can figure out a way.
Here’s a picture of the other bird house that’s off to the side of our house. If you zoom in on this one you can’t really see anything inside. I can’t tell either way, really, but it looks like this house is still available for rent.
On an unrelated note, here is today’s photo a day selection. It was nice to be able to turn the camera’s ISO setting down from my usual in doors go-to of 3200 to my usual out doors go-to of 100.
I just really like the look of this part of the Epcot World Showcase. Not sure if it actually makes me want to visit France or not. Also, I probably would have liked it a lot more if the damn Florida sun had just come out. Stupid Florida.
