Lily is sleeping on my lap. Yeah, so I’ve got that going for me.

This is one of those “always have the camera with you because you never know what you’ll see moments.” My father was in the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. I went to visit him and saw this on the top level of the parking garage. Is it interesting? Who knows. It clearly was to me at the moment I was parking the car, right?
I took Dad’s camera to this location twice. The first time the film broke. The second time it jammed with about five shots left so I just rolled it up and didn’t tempt fate. Next time I’ll bring my Nikon instead but I’ll probably go black and white again because it’s spooky looking and I like spooky looking things.

I’m home for a minute. Hanging with the fuzzy little folks.

Yeah… cold.

That’s where I am tonight. Jen is at home and weather kitty tells me it’s only -5 there, though it’s literally one town away.
How about the kids? They are practically in Canada. What does weather kitty tell us about their neck of the woods?

The forecast is calling for temps in the 40’s the day after tomorrow. At least we have that going for us.
The hospice facility has a little library/study. I liked it.

We are back in the room with mom. No changes that I can see.
For someone who is pretty vocal about lack of belief, I have been spending a lot of time around churches and chapels and I’ve witness the sacrament of last rites twice in the last week.
I took this at Sacred Heart church in Roslindale, MA. I don’t know why I had a film camera with me, apart from sort of always having one with me. This was my Aunt’s funeral. I was super early and just hoping to stay out of the way in the parking lot. I took a few pictures but this is the only one that isn’t total suck.
