Playing my Fender is so much more difficult than playing my Gibsons. They aren’t that different, but somehow it’s so much harder on the Strat.

Weird… My Gibson felt like a stallion for years. The strat is supposed to feel way more comfortable…

I once heard Jeff Beck say that he preferred Strats because Gibsons were too easy to play. He made it sound like Strats put up a fight. I kind of get what he was talking about now. It might just be that I’m more used to the Gibsons, but I do find them much easier to play. Everything just feels a little off with the Strat. The width and thickness of the neck, even the distance between the strings throws me off. Not to mention that I keep smacking that middle pick up with my pick.
