The Mean Streets
The mean streets of Salem, NH.
(amusing my dumb self while waiting for karate to finish)
Hornblower View
The Maid of the Mist only runs on the US side of the Niagara River. The Canadian version is called Hornblower.
This was taken as we were pulling back into the dock. The water under the Canadian falls had already screwed up the microphone on my little Casio camera.
Catnip
Here we see Patches’ first ever experience with catnip.
We bought her some once before but she completely ignored it. Today I brought it home from the store and showed it to Jen. Then I put it on my desk, figuring I’d give it to the cat later tonight. She came over to the desk and started sniffing around everywhere. She knew something was up. I dropped it on the floor and the show began!
The Birth of Skynet
When it comes time to program this thing, always remember the three laws of robotics.
A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

The tiny little race track…

Vimeo via iOS 7 Test
I finally got around to testing out the upload to Vimeo function on iOS 7. It works, but it was…
Ssssssssssslllllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwww
Now, can I post my test here?
Vimeo – Also Integrated into iOS 7
I tried out iOS 7’s integration with Flickr last night. Success. The other new service tied into the new OS is Vimeo. I didn’t have a Vimeo account until this morning. I’d be curious to see how the release of iOS 7 affects their account stats over the next few days. Anyway, I don’t have any video to upload at the moment, so I poked around for something to try to post here.
I found this cool Throwing Muses video from their tour of Europe a couple of years ago.

And for fun, here is the Wizard of Oz set to Dark Side of Moon.

iPhone Video
Video taken with an iPhone, and then uploaded directly from the phone to youtube kinda looks like utter crap, don’t you think? Word on the street is that the next iOS release is going to include integration with Flickr and Vimeo, similar to the way it integrates with Facebook and Twitter in iOS 6.
I might have to go sign me up for a Vimeo account just out of spite.
