Superman Trailer

This came out yesterday. It’s the trailer for the upcoming Superman movie. Word on the street is that it is not a reboot, it is not an origin story (again), it is just assuming we all know who this guy is and it’s giving us a new story.

I am so here for that.

Fingers crossed that James Gunn finally gives us the DC movie-verse that we have been hoping for all of these years. It doesn’t have to out do Marvel. It just has to be good.

I am ready for it. I want the movie now.

Tales of the Empire Trailer

I was listening to a Star Wars podcast at work today and they were discussing this week’s episodes of The Bad Batch. They were also wondering what was next for Star Wars animation. What’s the next show going to be? Will it be an Omega and Ventris buddy cop show? Will it go back to the High Republic?

No.

Right on queue, Lucasfillm released a trailer for the next animated series. It’s a continuation of Tales of the Jedi called Tales of the Empire. I am already fully on board, like the obsessive fanboy that I am.

Doctor Strange 2

We have a new trailer for the second Doctor Strange movie. There’s a voice that I recognize in there. Either Marvel is about to cross over with Star Trek or we’re getting some X-Men.

The Defenders trailer came out today and it’s already better than the whole Iron First series.  I’m gonna watch last night’s The Flash and then I think I might go watch that Daredevil hallway fight scene again.

Another Star Wars Trailer!

There’s another Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer!  This one was made for the international markets (Asia?) and it has a bunch of new footage!  If they keep this up there won’t be any new movie to see.

My beloved wife and I have both taken the release day off.  I haven’t bought tickets yet, but I will soon enough.  I don’t care if we have to go to a 9:00am showing.

Six weeks from today!  I can’t wait!  I want it to come out now!

Star Wars The Force Awakens Trailer #3

I am not ashamed to admit that this 2.5 minute commercial gave me chills.  Does that make me a super nerd?  Yes, and I don’t care.

Tickets are on sale now.  I am going to need to figure out when and where I want to see it for the first time.  I was considering taking the day off and trying to get to an afternoon show, preferably an IMAX show.  We’ll see.
