Thanksgiving dinner was lovely.

Also, Jen took my picture and I don’t recognize me. Also, I got to carve the turkey.

Also, Buddy the cat.

In a follow up to the earlier post, I’ve moved out of my desk.
This is the way.

My team is in the office today. Most of us, at least. When I got here I found out that it will probably be the last time in this building. There might be one more before the end of the year, but it probably won’t be a full day. Fortunately I have very little stuff here so I will be able to move out at the end of the day today.
I had a doctors appointment today. Did you know that my primary care doctor moved to a new location? I didn’t. I was a couple of minutes late. Ooops.
Everything went swimmingly. I was told to keep up the good work, so I will.
I got out of the appointment early enough to make two stops for Jen. One at a drug store, the other at a grocery store. When I got home it was still early enough for me to pack up all of my clothes that are now too big for me and bring them over to goodwill and donate them. Hopefully someone will find a good use for the old suit I included, as well as last year’s ugly Christmas sweater. I guess I have to get a new one of those soon too.
Right then. The turkey is in the oven, the first round of dishes are in the dishwasher, I finished Bellana’s laundry, I took out the trash and the recycling, and the camera batteries are all charged up. That means I can post the pics I would have posted in the last post.
My first stop on the film shootin’ journey today was Walnut Grove Cemetery. It looks something like this:
My second stop was Greycourt Park which looks a little something like this:
My third stop was the guitar nook which you’ve already seen in the last post, but this time the pic is from my DSLR because I’m a total fucking snob:
Now, in honor of The Great Black and White Film Experiment of 2022, which was the reason for the first of the two stops this morning, here are the same three digital pictures in black and white:
Most of the things I wanted to do today are not going to happen because of reasons. I did get to see my dad but not my mother. I didn’t get any train track pictures on film. There’s a spot where I can get pretty close but I didn’t get there today. I did get this little bit of proof from the parking lot of my dad’s rehab joint.
So I wasn’t lying. Maybe tomorrow, eh?
Our friend the faux Roomba is acting strange tonight. Not sure what’s going on but I ran it after work and it docked itself after a short run, the. Hours later it kicked itself off again. What’s the deal, faux Roomba?
Patches just watched the battle of the Blackwater.
Patches has had it up to here with all the pictures. Just leave me alone, quoth the Patches.
Nevermore.
Woke up this morning, looked out the window and saw this…
Welp, I guess it’s winter now. For reals.
