Posterous (ie Twitter) can Kiss My Fat Ass

The whole reason I started using wordpress.com was because I could host images on posterous and have them auto post to wordpress.  Of course it took just a few weeks before those pics I sent to posterous started showing up in my wordpress storage counts.  Then after a couple more weeks the posterous auto posting stopped working.  Yeah, that was nice, huh?  Now this week we find out that posterous’ parent company, twitter, is closing up the shop and posterous is going away.

I am afraid to see how much of my free wordpress storage space I have used.  I have to be more diligent about using Flickr to host images.

Posterous Broke WordPress

Yesterday I posted two little Hipstamatic pictures via one email to my Posterous account.  At the time I noticed that the format of the post to WordPress was a little screwy.  Today I noticed that my sidebar was posting at the bottom of the page.  I guessed that the two pic post was the culprit and deleted it.  The sidebar returned to the side.  Strange indeed.

I don’t want to have to worry about crap like this.  I want Posterous and WordPress to play nicely and I want everything to continue to work the way it did when I set all of this garbage up a couple of weeks ago.

Anyway, I am in quite the Hipstamood right now so here are those two pictures again.  This time hosted by Flickr.
