The cats would like to wish you all a Happy Halloween.
Ho Ho Ho and shit.

I have tomorrow off from work. It’s Halloween. I like taking Halloween off. I don’t have any real reason to take it off, I just like having it off.
I also have a shit load of work to do for a deadline at the end of next week. Like, a literal mountain of paperwork type stuff.
My brain is starting to get into you-have-tomorrow-off-woohoo mode where I am easily distracted by trivial things and lose focus on what I am doing and I start slipping into day off mode early.
I cannot do that today. I cannot. I must not. Too much stuff to do. Too many tasks with a fast approaching deadline. Stay focused, Robert. Keep your nose to that paperwork-grindstone. Don’t let your attention slip!
Oh look, here is a picture of a guitar that I took this morning.
Huh… uh oh.
I’m not sure which cat this was.
Does talking to an insurance company make everyone feel like this, or is it just me?
Insert the sound of a middle aged red head giggling here.
Did you notice the eyes peeking over the top of the cat tree?
I like fall colors, but as soon as the leaves start dropping I just want it to be late spring again. I hate how everything dies in fall. It bums me out.
Hope everyone is having a fine Wednesday morning that doesn’t include an hour and a half in traffic.
I’m working from home today.
Robin approves.
I kept precise track of how much time I spent playing guitar this weekend. Like, total accuracy right down to the second.
I played for 0.0 seconds, exactly.
I’m kind of a statistics nerd that way, you know?
We are back home. We did the annual leaf peeping drive. Success. It was a little past peak everywhere we went, except for around the lakes region. It still looked pretty fantastic though.
We didn’t pull over very much so there aren’t a lot of pictures. We did stop for gas and bathrooms a couple of times, and one stop was at The Willey House on route 302. I have a few pics from there, both film and digital.
It was a nice drive. I enjoyed spending the day with my wife, the love of my life. Any time we can just be together is a thrill for me and time very well spent.
