As crazy busy days go, this has been one. It’s not even lunch time.
Two contractor visits down and at least one to go.
Here’s a couple of cats to tide you over while we wait for contractor number three to get here.

Shortly after I took this I was sitting up in bed watching For All Mankind on my laptop and eating a little cup of sugar free pudding. Lily strolled past me and accidentally(?) stuck her tail into my pudding cup.
Oh good.
I had a pretty crappy night’s sleep last night. Fortunately, just after I woke up this morning I saw these two things…
This made it a little easier to handle.

We didn’t think either cat would take to the little basket thing on the side of the new cat tree, but a few days ago Jen picked Lily up and put her in it and now Lily gets into it without any prompting from us. Success!
It is 8:30pm and the cats are napping. I know it’s really early but I had a crummy night’s sleep last night and seeing the cats dozing has made me terribly jealous.
With her head poking through the hole, she looks like a Meer cat on guard duty.
I can’t stop laughing at this one.

At last! We finally have a cat sitting in that pouch/hammock type thing on the new cat tree! Success!
She looks very uncomfortable, and she was wagging her tail in annoyance, but she’s in there!
Robin is home from the vet. Everything went fine. Just like her daughter, Lily three days ago, she was given a clean bill of health. Her shots are up to date and her claws have been trimmed.
All is well with both cats. We will book another check up for about a year from now. Until then, let’s not pull that carrier/prison out of storage again.
Happy healthy cats day.
