Patches isn’t nervous about tomorrow at all. It’s like she has no idea what’s going on.

I want to go back to sleep but Patches won’t let me.

Back in the pre-cellar flood days, Patches used to enjoy hiding out downstairs. She also seemed to think she wasn’t allowed there too because anytime someone would catch her she sprint up the stairs at a world record pace.
After the floor and the walls were ruined we made sure the door was always closed to keep her out. Safety first, right?
Now that the construction is complete we were planning on letting her explore again. Tonight Jen and I spent a few minutes just enjoying the space. Patches snuck down the stairs and, after a lot of reassurance from us, joined us on the new couch.
She was a little hyper. This was the best picture I got. She’s both furry and blurry.

Patches can’t wait for the cellar to be finished so she can sneak down and barf on the new couch.

Patches has watched us watch 7+ seasons of How I Met Your Mother and she seems to kinda be done. Sorry cat, there are nine seasons. We aren’t even close to done yet.

I’m home from the office. Patches is overwhelmed with excitement.

Patches is staring at Jen in a slightly creepy manner.

Queen of the land.

What you looking at, red head.
