Homemade Guitar Picks

My step son gave me some homemade picks so I broke out the Les Paul and the Marshall stack and we jammed for a while to try them out.

The Good Stuff

I don’t drink. Ever. I just don’t. There’s no reason for it outside of never having come across an alcoholic beverage that actually tastes good to me. I’m also kind of proud that I’ve never been under the influence, in a weird anti-social sort of way.

This stuff though…

This stuff I’ll at least try. It will probably make me want to vomit, but I’ll give it a try. It comes highly recommended by Neil Peart. Obsessed Rush fans will understand why.

You Turkey

My company has swans living at the building in Canton. The building I work in doesn’t have swans, it has a bunch of wild turkeys.

Jingle Bells

We have actual jingle bells on our door.

Gig

My step son played his first recital on guitar and bass tonight. He was great! He played one song solo on guitar, and another on bass with a band. It was so cool!

On the home front, most of the wrapping is done. Not all, but most. We are closer to being ready for christmas but still have quite a ways to go.
