Tough Times

The country is in the sewer thanks to the nazis in charge. The Red Sox have lost four in a row. The Bruins have lost something like 800 in a row.

At least Robin the cat is still adorable.

Stereotypical Behavior

Happy laundry day, I guess. Lily often behaves in a stereotypical manner on laundry day.

Evening In

No band practice tonight. One guy called it before we had a start time worked out. That’s three Sundays in a row with nothing. If we don’t play next weekend, I am going to start getting back into my uber pessimist mode. Insert frustrated sigh here.

On the upside, Jen made a great salmon dinner tonight. It was lovely. She is lovely, so that just makes sense.

Errands in the City

I ran some errands in the city today. Any excuse to visit Boston (and Cambridge… mostly Cambridge).

Crash

It has been a long time since I’ve had a blood sugar crash. It happened tonight. Things are slowly getting back to normal. Here’s a cat photo I forgot to post earlier. It should tide me over while I wait for the shakes to stop. Any minute now.

Opening Day

Today is opening day for the Boston Red Sox. The first game is a little more than four hours away. They are on the road against the Rangers. Game time is 4:05pm Eastern time.

This is the third opening day since my mother passed away and the first since my father passed away. I am missing them both a little extra today.

Here’s hoping my Red Sox tear Texas a new one to cheer me up. After suffering through garbage hockey for nearly a full season, I am not going to take any crap from baseball. I have spoken.

Unrelated note, here’s today’s photo a day thing (day 208 of 365). I hope you’re not getting tired of the toy camera app black and white stuff because I most definitely am not tired of it. I might use black and white exclusively next month. We’ll see. I’ll probably change my mind before then, but it could happen.
