If I do 50/90 and come up with a new album’s worth of demoes and stuff, should this be the cover I use when I post to bandcamp.com?

Christmas Postscript
I finally got around to unloading my Christmas pics. They are all on Facebook, and the ones that don’t show any kids (only a few of them) are public on Flickr.
Patches was not impressed.

Let’s Go Back
HoHoHo! Merry Christmas!
Santa Claus came to our house. The kids woke up at their dad’s today which means Santa could just leave everything in our room and we could put it all under the tree this morning. You’d think that would be convenient, but it really actually sucks. We both want the kids here. We both miss them. It doesn’t ever really feel like Christmas when they don’t start the day with us. The good news is we’ll pick them up at dad’s in an hour or two and then come back here for the annual wrapping paper shredding bonanza. This afternoon they will go back to their dads and Jen and I will be sad again, but at least we’ll have had our own Christmas morning with them. Next year though… next year they start the day with us and it will be the BEST!
Wishing all of you and yours a Merry Christmas if applicable. If it’s not applicable then I hope you have an extra fantastic day for no good reason at all.

3.67 Years
It was April 27, 2012. That was my last full day in San Diego, CA. Three years and slightly less than eight months. That is way too long. I’ve been there three times. On my honeymoon in June of 2009, then with the kids in August of 2011, then with the kids and Jen’s folks in April of 2012. We haven’t been back since. No wonder it feels like it’s been an eternity since last I dipped my toes into the Pacific… it has been an eternity!
See the dude with the guitar? Just make him a lot taller, a lot heavier, give him a mop of glow in the dark red hair, and give him a much, much cooler guitar. That is what I’ll look like when I’m living on the beach, busking for change, and playing music to the largest swimming pool on the Earth.
Make it so!
Too Soon for Cabin Fever?
Is it too soon to start showing signs of cabin fever, or seasonal affected disorder or whatever it’s called?
I’m getting that time-to-move-to-California-and-spend-my-days-busking-on-the-beach frame of minds. The traffic, the weather, the feeling run down, the cold and flu, and general blah are all conspiring against my sanity right now.
And it’s not even officially Winter yet.
Just photoshop a picture of me sitting on the sand strumming my 12-string.
Please?

Speed Leaf Peeping
Yesterday morning before dawn, Jen and I got in the car and headed North. The plan? To drive The Kancamagus Highway and do some leaf peeping, while still getting home by lunch time. We invented a new craze: Speed Leaf Peeping
The sun wasn’t cooperating, as it was a bit on the gloomy side, and we think we were a little past the peak of the fall colors, but it was still beautiful and definitely worth the trip. We only got out of the car once, so there aren’t many pictures.
The side story of the day was definitely the crows. There were tons of them and they were everywhere. For the Watch, right Ollie?
