Speaking of Critters

When I came upstairs this morning to start packing up for the drive to the office, Robin the cat jumped up on the table by the dining room window and looked like she was posing for me. I took out my phone to snap a pic and she ran away.

Three minutes later she changed her mind and came back to do the whole super model cat* walk thing. I managed two pics. That’s all she let me take.

When it comes to shooting with a model, consent is everything.

*Pun very much intended.

Cat Views

We went to visit Jen’s mother and step father today. When we came home, this was waiting for us:

I think we can take the xmas lights down now, don’t you?

Fast forward a few hours to just a few minutes ago. Jen is asleep and I’m sitting up in bed watching youtube videos about guitars and film photography and doctor who and this is what is sitting below the foot of the bed:

Cat views, or views of cats. Either way, we can’t get enough.

Busy and Stressful

Today has been a super busy and stressful day. Yesterday was too, starting in the middle of my lunch break. Today calmed down a little, just long enough for me to sneak in some food, but it’s likely going to get crazy again.

Add to all of the work stuff the fact that the squirrels outside have been chasing each other around and fighting and making all sorts of noise. The cats have been monitoring the situation and will let me know if anything weird happens. Thanks, cats.
