Sunday Brings Another Crappy Song

Are you sick of this yet?  Sure you are.

More bad lyrics to a song that was left over from April 2007.

What happened in April 2007 that made me flake on my first real attempt at an album in a month?

Oh nothing, just my first date with my wife.  My priorities changed radically that month.  For the better.  For the infinitely better.  For the eternally infinitely better.

Home Theater Audio

During the second intermission of today’s Bruins game (down 2-1 in the third, and they lost Rask to what looks like a groin injury) I played some music through the new sound system we have in the living room. Yes, it was pretty loud.

The cat freaked. She sat in the middle of the living room floor with her ears perked straight up and her eyes darting all over the place. I’m guessing the subwoofer might have had something to do with her confusion.

Why is the floor shaking?!

Hehe.

Good kitty.

Another New Song

This time it’s a rewrite of a song that I started working on back in November that upon completion was one of the worst pieces of shit I’ve ever dreamed up.

It’s better now.  A little better now, at least.

Here is the current 16 (at least) song project as it stands now.  Five songs finished, but two of them were all ready done before I dreamed up this hair brained thing.

And now that I’m done with that, it’s time to go watch some of the Bruins game while I patiently wait for the Mrs to get home from work so that I can give her a smooch and tell her that I love her like crazy.

Something I hate

Don’t you hate when the service engine soon light comes on in the new car so you make an appointment with the dealer to get it looked at and then the night before the appointment the service engine soon light goes out and doesn’t come back on so there is nothing for the dealership folks to look at?

Yeah, I hate that too.

In unrelated news, some of the demos on the new reissue of Pink Floyd The Wall are really cool. I expected Roger with a tape recorder and instead get fully produced songs that bear little to no resemblance to those on The Wall, or The Final Cut, or The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking. There is a lot of interesting changes. Its like a whole new record.
