I tried posting audio files to Posterous and having them autopost to Blogger, but that didn’t really work. It just sent a link back to Posterous.
How does WordPress handle the same function?

Does this work?
I’m trying to find a way to post pictures from my iPhone without using up my WordPress account’s storage. Posterous seems like the perfect place to go for exactly that, but the app on my phone is acting weird.
This test comes from the web. Does it work?
They made it official yesterday, although no dates have been announced yet.
Rush, having just this week completed the first leg of the Clockwork Angels tour, are going to be touring North America again next year. I haven’t missed a tour since 1987, but I came damn close this time. In fact, I failed to see a full show. We went to the opening night show in Manchester, NH with the kids, but a combination of sleepy children and my gorgeous wife’s bad back had us out of the building early in the 2nd set. I had tickets to the Boston show, but something came up at (literally) the last second and kept us away.
I would like to think that Rush decided to come back next year (assuming they come somewhere close enough for us to get to, although I have seen them as far away as Milwaukee, WI) specifically so I can see the 2nd set and the encoure.
As I sit in the living room packing up a suitcase or two (for what reason, I don’t know) I am listening to Clockwork Angels. I haven’t spun this particular platter in a month or two.
Yes, it is still the best Rush album since at least 1981, and it still may be the best album they have ever made.
Please come to Boston for the Springtime, oh Holy Triumvirate of Prog.
New Song… or songs. It’s actually two songs that I glued together because they were both short and they were both pretentious and they both kinda suck. I will probably want to remix these little garageband for ipad demos someday, but for now…
Enjoy my crappy song!
I had a pile of comp time that needed to be used. Jen had vacation time that she would lose if she didn’t use soon. Months ago we started searching for a fitting weekend to take off together before Christmas. We chose this weekend.
I am off today and tomorrow. Jen is off tomorrow. Sure, I was out of the house before sunrise, but who cares. I’m not going to work!
We might be sneaking off for a bit at some point. We might stay home for some of it. There are no set in stone plans, other than not working for a couple of days. We might do some Christmas shopping, and we might see a mountain, and we might sleep all day… But we will spend it all together, and it will be great.
I am such a bloody hypocrite. Months ago I said that if the NHL lock out cancels a single game then I am done with hockey.
The lock out started and I called for the league to be replaced with a new league that won’t piss on its fans’ loyalty. Then the league offered its 50/50 split of hockey related revenue and hope flashed for a second before I realized we were talking about Gary Bettman and Donald Fehr and they’d find a way to screw it up. Of course they did.
Later the NHLPA came up with an offer that reportedly moved significantly toward the league’s demands and again hope reared its ugly head. Only for a second though as I knew the NHL would screw it all,up. Of course they did.
Next it was the Federal Mediators that caused the hypocritical instant of hope, but that wasn’t much. The two sides are too stubborn to work together, why would they work with someone else.
When the Bettman/Fehr free meetings were announced I thought it was a joke. It was all for show. Like either one of those ego maniacal assholes would let a deal be done without them. Then earlier tonight I let some optimistic Twitter goofiness suck me back in again. The two sides are meeting in a hotel and members of the press are sitting in a meeting room twiddling their thumbs.
Until… Some one came in and set up a podium with the NHL logo on it. That must mean an announcement is imminent, right? Maybe this is it!
There is that optimism again. I want hockey, even if it means being a hypocrite. I loath what these greedy bastards have done to us. After the last lockout they should have killed themselves rather than go through this garbage again, but they didn’t. To hell with the fans who pay the league’s bills. Why should they care about us, right? And still, even with this frigging evil I want my damn game back. I’ll line up with the suckers who came back AGAIN and be all forgiving. What a Putz.
Fortunately it was a false alarm. Hours later there are reports that the two sides, while still bargaining in the wee hours of the morning, are still far apart.
Welcome back, my integrity.
Death to the NHL.
Now that the iPhone is posting fine, we have to test the iPad. Here’s hoping this shows up without any issues.
Oh, and what’s up with the occasional duplicates created by the import? Didn’t the import routine say that wasn’t going to happen?
Hello and welcome to my first post from my iPhone. Isn’t this exciting?
Hows about I post a picture from the drive home tonight. There was a nasty looking accident about five minutes from the office.
Have you noticed that I imported my Blogger posts? All 4400 or so of them.
Lets hope this posts and looks all right.
I am hesitant to do this…
I have been using Blogger obsessively since November of 2008. I generally post multiple times per day. Some days I got right out of control and just post little blurbs (usually with associated iPhone pics) of anything and everything.
I’m getting bored with Blogger though. Not for any real reason, just because I am. I figured I’d give WordPress a shot. I’m not prepared to pay for my goofy hobby, so I am going with a free WordPress.com page.
First impression? I’ll be back to Blogger soon enough. The text editor here kinda sucks. I’m hoping the iOS apps are better. This is almost as clunky as the text editor Tumblr uses. Also, using HTML tags seems to be a pain in the ass. It took me a while to figure out how to enter simple things like embed tags from Youtube or Flickr. I was this close to shutting down the whole experiment when I found that, oddly enough, there are two different Add New Post functions. One has a Text entry function that takes HTML. At least it seems to.
One upside that I will have to explore a bit is the Visibility setting I’m seeing on the Add New Post page right now. Can I set specific permissions on specific posts? That would be nice for pictures of my step kids.
Anyway, here is a picture of the love of my life:

Here is a song I wrote and recorded (hopefully it will work):
