The Black Plague: Day Seven
Hello, and welcome to the Christmas Eve edition of the Black Plague updates.
I feel about the same as yesterday. I was up to about 80% well for a while yesterday afternoon, but then I started coughing again and my throat started to hurt. It wasn’t a bacterial or viral kinda sore throat, more of a you’ve been coughing like crazy for a week and enough is enough kinda sore throat.
My beloved wife relapsed in a major way yesterday. She went from almost all better on Saturday to sick in bed again on Sunday. I hope she’s feeling a little better today.
Tomorrow is Christmas. Let’s hope that this is all finished by then.
HoHoHo.
The King
You can have your Bing Crosby.
You can have your Frank Sinatra.
You can have your Dean Martin.
When it comes to crooning Christmas carols, no one beats the King.

It Lives Again
The countdown clock ornament lives again!
Mad Cat
She had been snuggling on the tree skirt. Those days are ovah, Ms Kitty.
HoHoHo
There are actual Christmas presents beneath our Christmas tree.
The cat is PISSED.
The Black Plague: Day Six
Am I finally on the mend?
For the first time since this whole mess started, I woke up feeling noticeably less congested today. Finally, progress. I’m still not breathing through my nose at 100%, more like 65% or so, but right now it is so much better than it was yesterday. I’m still coughing with enough force to expel my lungs, but the fits seem to be coming less frequently. We are not out of the woods yet, but I do feel much better. Jen was feeling really well last night, but just before bed she got hit with a queasiness and relapsed a bit. She too was better this morning though.
Christmas Eve is tomorrow. Is this recovery a Christmas miracle? It works for me!
HoHoHo!
Merry Flickr
Did any other Flickr Pro users out there get a FlickrMail from FlickrHQ saying the following…
“Please enjoy 3 more months of Flickr Pro for free as our way of saying thanks this holiday season!
Your Flickr Pro subscription now ends on…”
It looks legit, but did every Pro user get the same holiday gift?
I’ve mentioned before that I love Flickr. I use it like crazy. I might use it more than Facebook. I use it so much I’m afraid I might burn a hole in it. I want Flickr to succeed. I want it restored to its former greatness. I want it to be the photo site on the Internet. I want it to rule.
The new iPhone app is a step in the right direction. It’s good. I like it. I don’t see myself using Instagram anymore. I’m eagerly awaiting an iPad app, but I tend to go to the website over the app when using my iPad anyway.
The app is a step toward restoring greatness. Giving me three free months is a step toward keeping me loyal. Not that my loyalty was in doubt.
Keep up the good work, Flickr.
