In 2011 I developed a hockey superstition. If I ate some smartfood popcorn on game day, the Bruins would win.
I’m not saying it was a real thing, but the Bruins did win the Cup that year.
Just sayin’.
Video taken with an iPhone, and then uploaded directly from the phone to youtube kinda looks like utter crap, don’t you think? Word on the street is that the next iOS release is going to include integration with Flickr and Vimeo, similar to the way it integrates with Facebook and Twitter in iOS 6.
I might have to go sign me up for a Vimeo account just out of spite.
The Flickr homepage has always had a space for groups that you belong to. It used to show the few most recent pictures added to one group, and I think it linked to one or two others. I don’t think I ever clicked on anything group related from the homepage.
Now there are two pictures displayed in the upper right hand corner of the homepage, one each from two random groups. I find myself looking at that every time I log on. I look at the latest contact upload or two, or three, and then I check out whatever groups came up.
It makes me want to view the groups, and it makes me want to add images. I just added this one to a group called Reflections in Water.
I wanted to add this one, which I like a while lot more, but it wasn’t really applicable.
I have this crazy need to upload pictures to Flickr and post them everywhere. I’m just pleased by the whole thing. I have always enjoyed clicking around on Flickr, and now it will just look 100 times better every time I do. I just want to feed a bunch of new pics to the machine, you know?
Here’s some old pictures that are probably already on this page somewhere, but what the hell, you know? Pics of my town.
I don’t know… maybe this is just me thumbing my very large nose at all the people who are so afraid of change that they are bitching and moaning about their online photography site placing it’s focus on photos. Really… how dare they, right?
This Monty Python sketch came up in conversation today. I love this one…
Let’s not give him the cake. Laugh Out Loud.
I have to admit, I’m completely hockey shocked. Last night the Bruins beat the Rangers in game three by a score of 2-1. The Bruins were down 1-0 after two periods and got two goals in the third from the fourth line. How the hell does anyone’s fourth line beat Heinrich Lundqvist twice in one period?
The Bruins now lead the series 3-0. I really thought the Rangers were going to beat us badly this round. I really did. I said before that there have been two Bruins teams this year. The awesome Bruins were the team we saw in the first half of this stupid mini-season. The crappy Bruins were the team we saw in the second half. It had been months since we saw the awesome Bruins, and therefore we had no reason to expect to see them again. Somehow though they are back and completely in control of this series.
But the first person to say that the 3-0 lead makes us a lock to win the series gets the entire 2010 post season shoved right down his/her throat. Never forget. Never again.
Game four is tomorrow night (I think). Close it out then.
Go Bruins!
Hey, check it out… A post that isn’t about Flickr or Yahoo!
The Bruins trail the Rangers 1-0 after two periods. Lundqvist has been super human. The Rangers have not had a penalty called against them yet, even though Chara took a high stick to the head and was bloodied up.
The Bruins need to break through Heinrich in the third. We cannot let those friggin’ New Yorkers back into this series.
Go Bruins!
