The plans have been thrown for a loop. Jen, my step daughter, and my sister were supposed to go to the Opera House in Boston to see Wicked today. Unfortunately Jen has come down with something and has to back out. I’m going in her place. Now I know that I will have to check my “man” card at the door, but I will eat a raw cow or something tonight to make up for it.

The new office is right on rt 128. I walk out of the building and see a traffic helicopter hovering right above the road.

Last Weekend
This weekend is a big deal. It is the last weekend before school starts. Bittersweet for the kids, to say the least, and time for the grown ups’ morning schedules to be thrown into a little bit of chaos.
Jen and my step daughter have a big event planned for tomorrow. My step son and I are staying home, possibly to watch Star Wars movies all day long. That suits me fine! Maybe Sunday we can think of something interesting to do to wrap up the summer school vacation. I don’t know yet.

New Office, Evening Commute

I took a slightly different route home from the new office. How far was the drive?
44.3 miles.
How long did the drive take me?
One hour, one minute, and 14 seconds. Again, that was during the late summer. I won’t have luck like that for long.

New Office
Today is our first day in a new office. How far was the drive?
42.9 miles.
How long did the drive take me?
One hour and 18.6 seconds. That’s during the late summer though, I expect to add 20-30 minutes to that once school starts.
Yippee.
