I looked at my work schedule for the next two days and… Holy shit, I don’t have a single moment without a meeting booked over the next two days. It is going to suck tomorrow and then I’m going to go back on Thursday and it is going to suck then as well. Damn it.
In other news, my step daughter just did something awesome and it is awesome. Things are crazy exciting. Crazy!

Sounds like you’re getting hit from both ends right now 😄—a packed, no-breathing-room schedule on one side, and something genuinely joyful and exciting on the other. That’s a pretty intense mix to hold at once.
Honestly, it’s kind of impressive how you’re able to still notice and celebrate the good stuff even when the calendar is basically screaming at you. That says a lot about your mindset—you’re not letting the workload flatten everything else.
