I’m from North America so I pronounce it Nykon, not Nickon. That is probably wrong, but I don’t care.

  1. Nickon? Paul Simon has immortalize the Nikon camera pronunciation with his song “Kodachrome.”– “I’ve got a Nikon camera, I love to take photographs, so momma don’t take my Kodachrome away”

    Wonderful song, but at the time I only had a Yashika and my trusty Canon TLB, and since a number of Kodak 110’s and 210’s with pop-up or cube flashes. Now its all just a phone, but I’m playing with a Nikon Coolpix B500 left over from work. Not the same as memories of fixer under a red light. Keep up the great work!
