I just heard that Sidney Powell (remember her?) has plead guilty in her Georgia election subversion case.
Allow me to quote a portion of the story:
Fulton County prosecutors are recommending a sentence of six years probation. Powell will also be required to testify at future trials and write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia.

Right then, let’s make this clear. What we’re saying here is that the penalty for trying to overthrow a presidential election is having to write an apology letter. Let me read it again…
Yup, six years probation, meaning no jail time, having to testify at future trials, which she would have been subpoenaed for anyway, and having to write an apology letter to the citizens of Georgia.
Yup, I think that’s what the article is saying. Rig a presidential election… write an apology letter. I’m sure it’s going to be utterly heartfelt and sincere, right?

The judge hasn’t passed a sentence yet. This is just what the prosecution is suggesting. According to the article, at least.

I wish there was an “angry” emoji! The judge almost always gives a lighter sentence than the prosecution requests. So basically, there are NO CONSEQUENCES for trying to subvert a presidential election in the United States. I am ANGRY!!!!

I remember when my son was in the second grade he pushed a girl down in the snow. I made him write an apology letter, but he still got a detention. Just saying.

I’m no legal expert, but hearing this, I was reminded of the time Michael Vick’s got charged and convicted on dogfighting charges.
One by one, the people in “his crew” plead guilty to lesser charges in exchange for their testimony against Vick. According to CNN, part of this agreement means that Powell will testify against Trump.
If they were able to get Trump’s ATTORNEY to testify against him, he’s in trouble…
