Tonight saw the start of the April music project. Idea #1 has begun. It’s four phrases written on guitar (for a change) and recorded along with bass and drums on my iPad. I used the Fender Twin version of Amplitude for the guitar. I’m thinking that might be April’s schtick… Fender amp. Bare bones trio. No doubling (except for vocals and even then maybe just harmonies).
We shall see.
Of course, I’m still not even close to finished with March, so this is really just silliness. Am I right?
Does anyone out there in internet land know what this US Navy plane is called? The Air Force version is called AWACS, but I can’t remember what the Navy version is called.
I wasted half an hour of my life stuck in a traffic jam this morning. The reason? There was an accident on a road that I wasn’t on.

The car was covered with ice this morning. April 3rd, my ass!
This just happened to me.
I was in the bathroom brushing my teeth. Our sink has a pretty slow drain, and I had just run the water. There was about a half inch deep puddle, slowly draining away. As I brusha-brusha-brusha-brushed my teeth I ended up with a mouthful of toothpaste. I leaned over to spit it out. As I have probably mentioned, I am freakishly tall. Therefore I leaned way over so that my spit would all end up in the sink instead of shotgun pellet blasted all over the place.
My toothpastey spit hit the water and splashed back upward.
Directly into my eye.
I don’t believe it, kids.
I literally just spit in my own eye.
It’s going to be a long, long day.
I drove my wife to work today. That’s just something we do now and then. She starts a whole lot earlier than I do, so I tend to get to work way too early. This morning I put the time to good use. I sat in the parking lot watching Family Guy on Netflix on my phone.
I love love love living in the future, don’t you?
Someone I love very much wants sushi for dinner tonight.
