NaSoAlMo Song #3

Did you hear that? I finally did it. I finally put a little backwards guitar onto a GarageBand file.

But wait, you can’t reverse an audio track in GarageBand. How did I do it?

Well, I’ll tell you!

I recorded a little lead guitar as the intro to this crappy song. I then exported just that 4-5 measure part to iTunes. I then took that audio file and loaded it into Audacity where I reversed it and saved it. Finally, I pulled the reversed file from Audacity into the GarageBand file and BOOM! Backwards guitar.

NaSoAlMo Song #2

Here is the second of 10 (probably) songs written and recorded for NaSoAlMo. As has often been the case lately I am 90% asleep right now, so I have no idea if the mix I just finished is listenable or not. I’d consider it a big bonus if it sounds okay.

NaSoAlMo Song #1

Hello and welcome to the first song finished for the 2014 NaSoAlMo. Aren’t you excited?? It’s more than seven minutes long and it’s got lots of 12-string guitar. It fits both of my mini-goals for the month. Hooray!

Not sure about the mix. It’s very late and I am 90% asleep, so who knows if it sounds good or not. Surely not me!

Another Song

Just a few minutes after I told myself I was done with bluesy songs this month I came up with this thing. It’s like I don’t even pay attention to my own ideas. What a jerk.

Just a note, alonetone seems to be lagging like crazy tonight. I’m not sure if this one is going to be playable. Good luck. You’re gonna need it.
