Why am I sharing another shot taken with Dad’s camera and his zoom lens? I don’t know, I just am,

Tenney Castle Ruins
This is dad’s Pentax K1000 with his cheap Gemini zoom lens. The next roll I shoot with my Nikon FG-20 will use this lens via an adapter. I don’t think the lens is all that great, and it’s tough to use and keep in focus, but I want to do the experiment and see how it goes. Research, babie!
Mono-Spicket
Fountain
Tenney Castle courtyard in Methuen, MA. This is from Dad’s camera with the cheap zoom lens. The next roll I shoot with my camera will use the same lens. I need to know if it’s going to work for me at my step daughter’s graduation in a couple of months.
Did I Over Do It?

This is the same image after I screwed around with it in Lightroom on my iPhone.
I over did it, right? Like, big time?
The Spicket River Looking All Mighty
I really want to shoot some film today. I might be taking a drive into Cambridge, and if I do and if the daylight is okay, I might take a short stroll through Harvard Square and I might bring Dad’s Pentax K1000 and a roll of film or two with me and see what happens. No promises though. It’s still kinda cold out there. We’ll see.
Downtown Again: Underexposed Edition
I forgot to check something when I took this. I can’t remember exactly, but some setting was off and the light meter wasn’t at a good spot and I ended up a little underexposed… and I kinda like it.
I think I was trying to trigger the light meter and I bumped the shutter button too hard. I think that was what happened.
Still Downtown
Downtown Methuen
As soon as the weather starts clearing up, I’ll start shooting downtown again. I promise.
