My step daughter is currently competing in the preliminary round of the geo-bee state finals. There are five groups. Two kids from each group make the final round. We are not allowed to watch the preliminary round which means I have no clue how much ass she is kicking. I need info!

Today is a big day. My step daughter is competing in the state finals for the National Geographic Middle School Geography Bee. We are all going to be there cheering her on. I am so proud of her I could spontaneously combust. She’s only in sixth grade, and she beat a bunch of really smart sixth, seventh, and eight graders in order to earn her spot in the final. I can’t wait to see how she does today.
