Guys Day

My step son and I are having a Star Wars themed Guys Day in the partially remodeled cellar.

Substitution

When rubbing against me doesn’t give her what she needs…

Rubbing on the wall is a decent substitute.

Cellar Reclamation Project Part 1: Addendum

This is an addendum to the previous post regarding the Cellar Reclamation Project Part 1.

The cat is pissed.

Cellar Reclamation Project Part 1

Phase One of the Cellar Reclamation Project had been completed.

The nap time comfy couch has been moved from one side of the stairs to the other. The Pre-HDTV has been put in its place. There is no cable box, just a DVD player. The sectional couch that used to be in front of the TV over in the dark, creepy, spidery corner by the bulkhead has also moved along with the TV. It’s now underneath one of the ceiling lights where it is much less creepy.

I haven’t yet decided what Phase Two of the Cellar Reclamation Project will be.

Like Clockwork

It’s like clockwork. 3:00pm, and here comes the HipstaKitty meowing like it’s going out of style.

Kitty Acquisition Debate

We are having a debate in the house today. Should we go over to the Nevins animal shelter and investigate the possibility of getting another cat? Jen and my step son are all for it. I’m willing if I get some help with the litter box and the food. My step daughter doesn’t want anything to do with it, but is willing to at least go and look.

Patches has stayed quiet thus far.
