I’m an idiot. I screwed up on one of the RPM songs. I cut and pasted a segment of vocal, not realizing the place I pasted to was in a different key. Damn it.

All Quiet on the Leaking Front
The leaking virtually stopped at some time after 2:00am today. About 20 minutes ago it seemed to be starting again, but it’s quiet now. Please please please stay that way. A contractor is coming to shovel the roof at some time after 10:00am. Please please please let that alleviate the problem for now.
Insult to Injury
To add winter themed insult to winter injury, it’s snowing.
I tried to make a longer video using iMovie, but I ran the clips through Cinematic first and, while it looks cool, you can’t really tell it’s snowing… which was the whole point.

Earlier today I put a post on the RPM Challenge website saying that I’d given up on trying to use a real amplifier when recording guitar parts. As is often the case, as soon as I told myself I wasn’t going to do it anymore, I went and did it. I just recorded guitars using my old amp. Granted, it’s a terrible song… but still.

I did some RPM work today, but only on song ideas that have already been started. I’m still stuck on five.
Top Shelf
For the first time ever, the cat went to the top shelf of her cat tree! Granted we had to bribe her with catnip, and she only stayed for about half a minute, but she was there.
