More Plants

I’m going to see if I can bring a couple of plants from the cellar back to life. Probably not, but we’ll give it a shot. I actually have a couple more that I need to bring upstairs to be part of the experiment.

New Flower Coming In

Yesterday during lunch I did some pruning on the Japanese Peace Lily in the bedroom. There were a lot of dead and dying leaves and branches, including the only flower. I yanked out a bunch of them and scissor’d off a bunch more. It was pretty bad. I was wondering if maybe the plant’s days were numbered.

Then last night before bed I noticed this:

A new flower is coming in! The plant lives!

51 year old me thinks that 20 year old me would think him insufferably lame for getting stoked over a flower. Them’s the breaks, 20 year old me.
