Just a note on scheduling things.

When you and two of your bandmates try to reschedule practice from 6:00pm to 4:00pm, don’t make other plans until the fourth band member agrees to the time change… especially when that fourth guy is the one who lives in the house you rehearse in.

I was going to bring the Stratocaster to practice tonight.  I even put new strings on it.  

  
Then I started practicing the second set.  It just felt… Wrong.

I tried to engage my step son in a discussion about which guitar I should take to band practice tomorrow.  Then I remembered he was 12 years old and didn’t give a shit.

This is Market Basket’s parking lot. The view at this angle means that the car is as far away from the building as humanly possible. That’s the kinda trip it was.

Today is a big day. A day that will be long remembered.

At the middle school dance tonight… he asked her. She didn’t say yes, and that sucks and it hurts a lot…

But he asked her.

He did it. I am so proud of him I can’t even tell you! Good job, young man! Yes it sucks that she said no, but some day you’re going to ask and she won’t say no. Some day you’ll ask and she’ll say yes!

Hmmmm very interesting.  The battery on my Apple Watch is getting awfully low.

  
It’s never been this low before.  It’s especially odd seeing as it spent a little extra time (30 minutes or so) on the charger this afternoon.

Geddy Lee was at that ridiculously weird Blue Jays game last night.

At band practice yesterday Mike posed the question, which team will win the most games this year?  The Bruins or the Patriots.  The Pats play 16 games.  The B’s play 82.

After watching the Bruins lose their third game in a row to open the season, 6-3 to Tampa Bay, it certainly feels like the Patriots will have more wins.

The Bruins suck out loud.
