Happy Back to the Future Day. 10/21/15 is the day that Marty McFly showed up in the future. It was a future where flying cars existed, hover boards were everywhere (except over water), kids wore their clothes inside-out, and the Chicago Cubs had just won the World Series.
Well the Cubbies are still in it, but after dropping their third straight to the Mets, it’s hard to see them being alive for much longer. Yet another way that movies lie to us.
At least we know that Star Wars is true. It’s all true. The Dark Side, the Jedi, all of it.
I am not ashamed to admit that this 2.5 minute commercial gave me chills. Does that make me a super nerd? Yes, and I don’t care.
Tickets are on sale now. I am going to need to figure out when and where I want to see it for the first time. I was considering taking the day off and trying to get to an afternoon show, preferably an IMAX show. We’ll see.
I had no idea. One year ago today was my first practice with Lizardfish.
Makes me feel bad about practice falling apart last night. Oh well. I’ll play extra well next weekend.
