I saw three deer in the woods this morning.  They weren’t hanging around so I wasn’t going to take any pictures.  They were running.  Fast.  Really fast.  I would guess they were moving full speed.  About 180 miles per hour.  I saw one of them jump over a downed tree.  He probably grabbed about 3 feet of air, but in my head right now it’s already turned into 20 feet.  That sucker could fly.

I love having deer back there.  I can’t imagine what would drive anyone to shoot one of these animals for sport.  They are just so… cool.

The near impossible happened!  A game night was scheduled and actually happened!  We did it!  Larry and Nawal hosted.  My beloved bride wasn’t feeling well and stayed home.  That was the one negative.  Other than that we all had fun.  My step kids got to hang with their cousins for the second time this week, which is pretty awesome.

Hopefully we will be able to repeat the success again soon.  Thanks Larry and Nawal!

We should celebrate this victory by going to see Star Wars again tomorrow.

After the atrocious performance by the Boston Bruins in today’s 8th annual Winter Classic game I feel that there is only one thing in the world that can cheer me up…

Unlike the Winter Classic, Christmas is ovah.  The tree and the decorations are gone for another year.  HoHoHo.

  
As for the Bruins, they are down 1-0 in the first.

My pedal board is going to look quite different after the next band practice. Four new toys need to be added, not counting the Muff pedal that I got in November. It’s going to be a whole new world, tone wise.

This video is mostly just the new Fuzz Face that UPS brought yesterday. There’s a little bit with the OCD clone and the Vapor Trail delay as well. I can’t wait to get these things wound up to band practice volume. I expect much feedback to be produced.

Why yes I am watching NHL Winter Classic pre-game coverage on the NHL Network, a full two hours before puck drop. 

 

Happy New Year, everyone.  It’s 12:02am on January 1, 2016.  I can’t freakin’ believe it is 2016!

We don’t have two teenagers in the house yet, but we will in another five weeks or so. Today the drama is running high. Older is mad at younger because she was asked to make sure he exercises this week and when she tells him to exercise he gets mad and says no. Younger is mad because older keeps bossing him around.

Oh the drama!

You might think I’m bitching, but I am not. Really I am just so happy that these people let me be a part of their life, both in happy fun times and in stress out drama times. I really am the luckiest guy around. My new New Years Resolution is to continue to be worthy of them.

  
My post-Christmas gear splurge is complete.  I’m one step closer to being Jimi Hendrix (no I’m not)!
