You guessed it. Another weeknight entirely free of recording. This whole thing is going to shit and I’ve no one to blame but myself… And that sucks.

RPM Challenge – Day 9
This has been the weirdest RPM to date. I have 13 songs in progress, but I don’t have a single recorded instrument track that is useable. I’ve got a few guitar tracks down, but I want to replace all of them. Everything I have so far is just built in GarageBand sounds. Guitar, bass, and drums. I have so much guitar to do that it’s starting to feel overwhelming. Every day I come home and say, tonight I record guitars! Then every night something comes up. It’s getting frustrated. I took a couple of days off from work next week to start vocals. I need all of the rhythm guitars done before then, never mind adding real bass guitar.
Like I said, weirdest RPM experience ever.
I Hate Winter
We had a snow storm on Friday. A minor one, but it closed schools. We had a bigger storm on Monday. Not terrible, but enough to shut down offices and schools.
This morning, the snow is over. I shoveled last night but a little more fell after I finished. The big negative today is that out internet appears to be down.

Clean Up
Yesterday’s snow storm seemed like a big one. I guess we’re just out of practice. There was only maybe 3 inches on the ground. Nothing at all. The cars have been cleaned off, the driveway shoveled, and the fire hydrant dug out. No problem.
Of course the big fat red head who did the shoveling? We’ll he’s about 4/5 dead now, but he’s recovering.
I hate snow.
