I got out of bed at the normal time for a Friday. I’m feeling like I have a cold, but that’s not bothering me today.

Somehow all of this getting up stuff doesn’t seem difficult, or a chore, or anything like that.

Why?

Because today and Monday are vacation days.

Ahhhhhhhhhhh

Now that our long awaited long weekend has arrived, I steadfastly REFUSE to get sick, regardless of my runny nose, achy throat, and regular need to sneeze.

Crap.

Youth softball might be a little different this year. The coach is running infield practice and they are covering actual game situations.

Excellent.

It’s just about 10:00am. That means our mini-vacation/four day weekend/Rush Road Trip 2011 starts in about 7.5 hours.

Oh please, Mr Clock, do not tease me. Do not run slow today. My Wife and I do so want to get away for a few days.
