Holy Shit!

Pardon my language, but HOLY SHIT!!

You know… sometimes you realize that you just do not want to know anything about any of your neighbors. Case in point: For almost my entire life I lived down the street from a family named Shelly. Today, one member of that family was arrested for a murder committed in 1969, 41 years ago.

Read this article from the Boston Globe too: High school jealousy led to murder of Tewksbury teen 41 years ago, officials say

The two other men arrested were named Brown and Ferreira. One block away from us there were families named Brown and Ferreira (Brown definitely, Ferreira maybe… there was a similar name, but I don’t know if it was spelled the same) but, unlike Mr Shelly, we don’t recall any of the parent’s names.

So, as I said earlier, sometimes it is just better to not know too much about the people living around you.

Damn!

Bruins

So last night’s exhibition game was terrible. The Bruins did not play very well at all. Good thing it didn’t count. Game one is Saturday, right?

Right?

What was that you say?

That game last night did count?

Well… looking on the bright side… at least they can’t blow a three games to none lead now. Am I right, or am I right.

Urgh.

Are You Ready?

It begins tonight.

The Mighty, Noble, Heroic Boston Bruins…

The slimy, grotesque, evil Montreal Canadiens.

Game one of the 2011 Conference Quarter Final playoff series at the TD Garden in Boston. Tonight. 7:00(ish)

Be there or be a wimpy Canadiens fan.

Go Bruins!

We Might be Moving Again!

Yup, time for the family to buy ourselves a new house. We spent a little time browsing houses this weekend and we’ve found the perfect house. We put in an offer and everything.

Unfortunately the owners wouldn’t let me take pictures of the interior, so you’ll have to settle for a few pictures of the exterior.

This is our new house. It’s in Newport, RI and it’s called The Breakers.

Welcome to the driveway.

I think this should be just about big enough for the four of us.

Here is Jen on the back patio.

We’re going to have to stock up on Windex.

I think we might have to add a garage.

The back yard is a decent size. I’ll miss the woods we have behind the house now, but I guess having the ocean is a fair trade off. (you can’t see the ocean due to the damn fog, but we could still hear it from this spot)

I sure hope the bank comes through on the mortgage application!
