Things to do today.

Go to the grocery store and buy tonight’s dinner.
Rearrange the living room.
Put up the Christmas tree.
Decorate the Christmas tree.
Watch the second half of The Fellowship of the Rings.
Try very hard not to start watching The Two Towers.
Sleep and hope I don’t catch the cold that I feel like I might be catching.

The kids were telling us the other day how they watched The Fellowship of the Rings with their father and step mother.  It just so happens that on the same day the topic was brought up, I had finished reading The Hobbit.

So of course I had to show them the extended version of The Fellowship of the Rings.  I mean, I don’t want to move on to The Two Towers and blow the fun for their dad and step mom, but they should probably see all of the extended version before watching the theatrical version of the second film… right?

We just finished disc 1.  We’ll watch disc 2 tomorrow.  The next weekend we have them we might be able to move on to the extended version of the second movie.  Maybe the third too?  Who knows.

Yup, it’s snowing out.  Right at this very minute it is snowing.  The blurriness is my fault, not the snow’s.

Patches and her creepy eyes watching me work.  Creepy.
